I have had bad experiences with debt agencies like Mcm midland credit management, but I was still able to erase my debts and repair my credit score.

Midland Credit Management is a debt collection agency that is located in San Diego, CA and is a subsidiary of the Encore group. It deals with many kinds of debt collections like utility bills, credit card bills, telecommunication bills etc.

They have to deal with debtors who have not paid their outstanding dues to the originating creditors. The debt collection agencies are invited by the originating creditors to handle their financial mess when their debtors refuse to pay up.

This is done by buying of the debts in bulk at cheap rates. Now the debt collection agency proceeds to the subsequent step of contacting the debtors to regain the debts at much higher margins of profit. To ensure this, the debt collection agency simply adds on charges, fines and inflates the actual amount to almost 10 – 15 times the original amount.

Debtors have some or the other kind of financial problems. That is the reason why they defaulted on payments in the first place, isn’t it? Now when they receive inflated bills on all their outstanding dues, how would they manage to pay up?

This is when the tussle between the debt collection agencies and the debtors/ consumers begins. Debt collection agencies usually get the upper hand because they are in a favorable position and they employ all kinds of underhand tactics to get their needs met.

Debt collection agencies have been known to contact debtors even if their debts are decades older and no longer valid. Sip tracing methods are employed to find the current location, address, phone numbers etc. So debtors can be traced even if they have changed their jobs, homes etc.

I can say with conviction about the debt collection agencies, because I have been targeted by them a few years back. My name is Casey and I would like to warn you all out there about the debt collection agencies and their dirty little tricks.

A few years ago when I was enrolled in college, I found that I was in need of money. There was no other way to fund this need for money other than applying for student loans. But luckily I got a few credit cards approved too.

So pooling all of the credit acquired via credit cards and student loans, I managed to accumulate $60,000 approximately. Actually I was elated that I could find the financial resources to fund my education and wanted to repay the loans as early as I could.

I found myself a part time job, but sadly it did not pay that well. After all waiting at tables has not made a billionaire out of anyone, has it?

I could manage just a few hours after college to work at my part time job. Very soon reality dawned upon me, and I realized that my petty salary was no match for all the huge credit card bills and loan EMIs.

That was when I panicked. I recall with terror how I defaulted on one, then two and many more payments back then.

Soon my originating creditors go tired of the cat and the mouse chase, and they called in the debt collection agencies to do their dirty work. They charged off my debts to these debt collection agencies. Now I had to deal with 3 debt collection agencies at a time.

I definitely had the worst time of my entire life while dealing with the rude debt collection executives. They abused and insulted me and also threatened to show up at my door. I did not know what to do and all I wanted was a new job that would help me pay off these blood sucking parasites soon and drop them off my trail.

But a new job was a farfetched dream for me; a fact that I soon realized. My new employer was too particular about conducting background checks and included a credit report check too, as part of the pre-hiring process. My credit reports were stinking to say the least, all thanks to the debt collection agencies that had sent in negative collection account reports to the credit bureaus.

My credit scores were pathetically low at 594. My prospective employer even thought that I was facing a drug problem when he looked at my pathetic credit scores.

I had nowhere to go and did not know what step to take next. That was when I tried to look up online sites that instruct about ‘do it yourself credit repair’. I tried a lot of such sites but found soon that none of the techniques worked.

My friend then suggested that I approach an expert in credit repair to get my problems solved. The Lexington Law Firm that she suggested was a reputed credit repair firm located in Salt Lake City, UT. It had over 2 decades of experience and had proved its worth more than half a million times. It reported a 98 % removal rate. All this got me excited and I contacted them right away.

Here is an actual deletion letter from the creditor:
